Jan Kuniholm has studied issues in philosophy, religion, and psychology for many years, first as a philosophy student at New York University, later, as a divinity student at Harvard Divinity School, and most recently at The Synthesis Center in Amherst Mass. since 2002. He divides his time between his “day job” as a professional land surveyor and his work in psycho-synthesis and spiritual studies. He is a cancer survivor and has dedicated his life to learning and sharing life-affirming and health-supporting attitudes and practices. He has been married for twenty-three years and lives with his wife in Cheshire, Mass. in Berkshire County. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Association for the Advancement of Psycho-synthesis, a national educational organization, and is editor of the AAP News. He loves classical music, and is writing a book on the inner dimensions of the Gospel According to Mark.

Jan works with clients to help them integrate their experiences, to grow in ways that are most appropriate for their time and place in life. What we need now is not always apparent. Personal sessions are designed to bring into awareness what is needed to support the journey of personal and spiritual growth and healing, and help sustain the life practices, thoughts, attitudes, and habits that promote health and well-being.

We use the framework of psychosynthesis, augmented by learning from the philosophical and spiritual traditions, and personal experience, to provide an “open space” to discover what is needed in our lives: awareness, being and doing.

Offices in Cheshire and Amherst. Sliding Scale. Jan is currently a Psychosynthesis Intern at the Synthesis Center, offering reduced rates.
