For over 20 years, professionally supervised counselor interns have been providing high quality, low-cost holistic counseling to the Pioneer Valley community. Psychosynthesis counseling affirms the uniqueness of every individual and addresses the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of the human experience.
Counselor interns are in their third year of an intensive three-year training program where they study and practice holistic counseling skills based on psychosynthesis principles. All interns are supervised by a team of licensed mental health professionals led by Dorothy Firman, Ed.D.
Counselor interns are available in a variety of locations including downtown Amherst. Most interns offer a sliding fee scale from $40 to $20. The initial interview is free. Fully trained counselors are also available.

You will be referred to the Intake Coordinator who will discuss your needs with you over the phone and help match you with an appropriate counseling intern. All inquiries are confidential.
