Once again we open our doors to a new group of trainees for the powerful experience of psychosynthesis training. Close to 30 years have gone by and every year we work with amazing people in this process of personal, professional and spiritual growth.  Inviting the Community into the Center!

Third Thursday Series Continues into the Spring

 All are invited to a series of fun evenings on self-care and making positive changes in life. This series is open to the community and is free or by donation to the Synthesis Center. Synthesis Center staff and guests will work with the principles of psychosynthesis, both as discussion and through group experiences to help guide us all as we face different life challenges.

The series will be held on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, starting on September 20th with:

An Evening of Tai Chi
with Jon Schottland
IThe gentle art of tai chi is known for its many benefits in terms of promoting relaxation, balance and improved circulation. The practice of tai chi also invites us to be present in our bodies and to connect us more deeply with ourselves and with the world around us. All ages and abilities are welcome, no prior experience needed. Jon Schottland teaches in the professional counselor training program at The Synthesis Center. He has been studying tai chi since 1995 in the Long River international tai chi school founded by Wolfe Lowenthal of Amherst, MA.

Introduction to Sandtray Journey Method:
Finding Your Wisdom Through Sacred Play

Sandtray Journey Method is a play therapy technique
suited for adults and children. Using a tray filled with sand, the participant
creates a scene or a soul garden using figures chosen from a large collection of
found objects and miniatures representing items and themes found in the
world. An overview of the history of sand tray methods, a demonstration of the
technique and a hands-on activity will be included in this evening presentation.

 Women’s Circle Training

Holding The Circle

 A Training/Workshop for Women

 This program is a training for women who want to run Women's Circles.

       Practice will be part of every group, and the focus of the course will be created in response to the needs and situations of those attending.  A telephone interview is requested.

This program will be held on 6 Wednesdays March 26 through April 30, with Sunday the 27th of April as a day-long. Evenings are 6:30 to 9:00pm and the day-long 10am to 4pm.

 Instructor:  Anne Yeomans, MA, LMHC, is a psychotherapist and group facilitator with   a private practice in Concord and in Shelburne Falls, MA.  She was one of the founders of the Women’s Well in Concord where she directed a nine-month program in Women’s Spirituality for six years.  She has been involved with Psychosynthesis since the early 70’s and studied with Roberto Assagioli, the founder of Psychosynthesis with whom she discussed women’s strengths and wisdom.
